Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026.
These terms govern your use of Summa, available at summagpa.com. By using Summa, you agree to them. They’re written in plain English on purpose.
The service
Summa is a free, browser-based GPA calculator. It supports several international grading scales and offers semester, cumulative, target, and NUST relative grading tools. There is no account, no payment, and no obligation.
Use it however you like — within reason
You can use Summa for personal, educational, or professional purposes. You can use it as often as you like. You don’t need to credit us. We do ask that you not:
- Scrape the site or hammer it with automated requests in a way that affects other users.
- Attempt to circumvent security measures, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the site’s operation.
- Use Summa to mislead anyone — for example, generating fake transcripts or doctored GPA screenshots for fraudulent purposes.
No warranty
Summa is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We’ve tried to make the calculations accurate and the grading scales faithful to their official sources, but mistakes are possible. Educational policies and grading systems also change.
Do not rely on Summa for binding academic decisions. Always confirm GPA, scale conversions, and academic standing thresholds against your school’s official handbook, registrar, or academic advisor. Summa is a planning tool, not a transcript.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the creators of Summa are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site — including but not limited to academic, financial, or consequential damages. If a calculation is wrong and you make a decision based on it, the responsibility for that decision rests with you.
Changes
We may update these terms periodically. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Summa after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the site operator resides. If a dispute arises, the parties will first attempt to resolve it informally before pursuing legal action.
